Chicago is a city with an abundance of well-known landmarks and neighborhoods. Yet, there are still some great spots that are worth checking out. You can get a great view of Chicago from the Lakefront Trail. This path runs along Lake Michigan and all the way to Ohio. The entire trail is over 18 miles long! You could easily spend an hour or two walking around one part of it, but if you have more time, try biking it instead for a completely different experience.
Lincoln Park Zoo is a great place to go if you’re looking for something fun and friendly. The zoo has over 400 animals, including some rare Asian elephants! You can also get food from local vendors who set up shop right outside the zoo during warmer months.
The Art Institute of Chicago is another must see spot in Chicago. This museum is home to over 300,000 works of art! These pieces are spread out across the entire building with different exhibits in each wing. You can easily spend several hours walking around and admiring all these beautiful paintings and sculptures.
