The weekend started off with my friend Jenna visiting from Miami. I took her to the best Spanish restaurant I know (Cafe BaBaReeba) and needless to say the food didn’t disappoint!

Friday morning I left for NYC to visit another friend. This was the amazing view out of my hotel window at the Trump International Central Park West.

The first bar we went to was 230 Fifth Ave housed in an office building, but this view was amazing. Yes there are palm trees in NYC…but only on rooftops apparently.

We had an amazing brunch at Parlor Steak House. I had the BLTĀ omelet. Delicious! It was also bottomless mimosas and rose bellinis. I opted for the rose bellini which was a good choice.

As NYC club lines can be rather long, we decided to stop in at the 711 across the street and grab some 40oz Coors lights (class, class, class all the way). Needless to say it helped quenched our thirst in the heat and was the cheapest drink we had all weekend.

Finally got back home and visited Flacos Tacos on Monday night with my friend Jaci. Sadly she’s moving to DC, but now I’ll just have yet another place to visit.

Overall this weekend was filled with eating, traveling, eating, going out and…oh yeah…more eating. Hope everyone else had as much fun this weekend as I did. Looking forward to being in Chicago this weekend though and getting started on decorating my new apartment. Stay tuned for some fun decorating ideas!
