My brother and I once agreed that perhaps the most embarrassing thing that could happen to a person is having their Google search history read out loud while sitting in a room full of familiar faces. Don’t ask me how we got on the subject (or under what circumstances that would ever take place) but I think we can all agree it’d be mortifying.
If you were to look at my Google search history on any given day there’s a pretty good chance you’d find it filled with search terms looking for amazing vintage pieces, like this top. When the personal shopping department at Topshop put me in these rugged jeans, I knew I needed a little vintage glamor to go with them. I tend to find the best vintage pieces by taking relevant fashion terms (ie. “midi dress” or “batwing sleeve”) and search for them along with the word vintage. This way I’m lead to great pieces, usually on ebay, that have the uniqueness that only vintage pieces provide, but are still on trend with what’s in style at the moment.
Oh, and don’t worry… there are plenty of really weird search terms mixed into my google history as well. Just none I’m going to share!
