When I look back on some of the best days of my life many of them have one thing in common- more often than not I was wearing DVF. My college graduation, my 21st birthday, an early date with my now husband, family weddings, grad school events, more weddings, memorable vacations, and most recently while hiding a baby bump… The list goes on (and so do the different hairstyles). For years whenever I’ve needed the perfect look for an important moment I’ve turned to Diane von Furstenberg, not only because I know I’ll get plenty of use out of it after the occasion, but also because the clothes always make me feel like the best version of myself. Diane von Furstenberg once said she didn’t know what she wanted to do, but she knew the type of woman she wanted to be. I’ve often felt the same way along my journey from law to fashion and interiors, and while my own career path hasn’t always been clear- slipping into a DVF dress always provides confidence that serves as a gentle reminder of the type of woman I aspire to be both personally and professionally. It’s for these reasons and more that I’m so excited to invite you all to a little party I’m hosting this Friday with the DVF team here in Chicago!
On Friday March 18th from noon to 3pm I’ll be in the DVF shop at Neiman Marcus with all sorts of gifts, sweets and treats. Here’s my favorite part… The first 25 RSVP’s will receive a signed copy of Diane’s memoir, The Woman I Wanted to Be! If you’re working downtown swing by on your lunch break, if you’re home with the kids grab your stroller and come say hi. We’re working on a couple surprises that you won’t want to miss! To RSVP just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘DVF RSVP’ in the subject line, and feel free to invite your friends. Hope to see you there!
