Dose is a year-round market featuring an awesome selection of vendors under one roof: the modern, lofted halls of the River East Art Center. Once a month, Dose showcases Chicago’s most dynamic gathering of food, fashion and unexpected delights. If you ask us, there’s no better way to spend a Sunday! Here are some of our favorite vendors from this month:
We hadn’t been at Dose more than 2 minutes before we became sidetracked by these amazing glitter tattoos being offered by a.muse. We decided “The CHICago Life Blog” might be a little long so just “CHICago” will have to suffice for now…
Nothing washes down a glitter tattoo like fresh ginger ale. We fell in love with Bruce Cost’s Fresh Ginger Ginger Ale, and jumped at the chance to sample their 4 flavors: Original Ginger, Jasmine Tea, Pomegranate with Hibiscus, and Passion Fruit with Yellow Ginger (Turmeric). Frankly, the only thing missing was a libation to mix in- but don’t worry we’ll have some Bruce Cost cocktail recipes coming your way soon!
The lovely ladies of 240Sweet know their marshmallows! With flavors ranging from Salty Carmel Swirl to Bourbon Sugar, there’s a melt in your mouth treat to fix any craving.
The Pinch Spice Market storefront in Bucktown is your one-stop shop for Chicago’s highest quality spices and herbs packed with maximum freshness, flavor, and potency. Check it out, your nose will thank you!
It didn’t take long for the unique Americana charm of Yearbook to draw us in. We’ll be visiting their Forest Park storefront soon, and I predict there will be many decorative gifts (for ourselves and others) purchased in the near future!
We might have found our new Etsy obsession, The May Box! Beautifully packaged body products that smell amazing.
