The average American has just 12 minutes for breakfast, for many of us, that means turning to breakfast options that are big on convenience, but small on satisfaction. Sad breakfasts.
Chobani is on a mission to #StopSadBreakfast and is surprising busy Chicagoans during their morning commute to offer them a better way to start their day. A custom fleet of “Cho-ffeur,” pedicabs designed to look like a cup of new Chobani Greek Yogurt Oats on wheels, is offering free rides to commuters from train stations and designated hubs around the city to workplaces. Along the way, riders will get a free breakfast to fuel them all morning long – a cup of Chobani Oats, a hearty blend of Greek Yogurt, steel cut oats and real fruit. The schedule is as follows for three days from 7am- 10am:
- Monday, September 22: Pioneer Plaza (401 N. Michigan Ave)
- Tuesday, September 23: LaSalle St. Station (W. Congress Pkwy)
- Wednesday, September 24: Union Station (S. Riverside Plaza)
Chobani will also have a breakfast station set-up to intercept commuters on foot with breakfast-to-go. And, anyone can get a cup of Chobani Oats when they share a photo of their sad breakfast tagged #StopSadBreakfast.
