I know, it’s been a quite couple weeks on the blog!  Life has been busy around here with lots of exciting new projects, a couple quick trips, not to mention chasing around an almost toddler, but fear not- fresh new content is on the way!  This past weekend we ventured to New York.  We spent lots of time exploring, catching up with friends, and I was able to get in a few showroom and gallery visits for design clients. Some of the trips highlights were…

-We had the chance to explore Brooklyn for the first time.  We fell in love with the Brooklyn Museum (pictured above), Brooklyn Flea, and Sweet Chick (the chicken and waffles were out of this world).

-The Union Square Farmer’s Market was one of the best I’ve seen.

-Having friends that live in NYC is great.  Having a friend that lives in NYC and works for Bergdorf Goodman corporate is the best!  We had the most delicious lunch over looking Central Park at BG Restaurant.

-A visit to ABC Home and Carpet is worth the trip to New York in and of itself!

-We always love catching up with our friend Samantha Sleeper and her family.

-Peter had the amazing opportunity to represent Chicago by ringing the NASDAQ closing bell as a winner of the Chicago Innovation Awards. I can’t wait to show Connor all the photos and tell him about it when he’s old enough to understand how cool it was!
