In celebration of National Meat Week (who knew there was one?), Grass Fed hosted a ‘Meat Up’ event at their inspiring restaurant in Bucktown. As a Wisconsinite, I thought it about time I visit the restaurant offering grass-fed, Wisco farm-raised meats. Let’s just say I’ve never been prouder of my home state. Scott Kay, owner of Grass Fed, truly creates a focused and delicious menu. My personal favorite was the steak tartare, but you really can’t go wrong…brussel sprouts salad, pecan rum bread pudding, curried cauliflower etc., etc.
I can’t say enough about the atmosphere and food at Grass Fed, so I’ll just end with this….if you’re looking for a delicious experience this weekend, go to Grass Fed.
