One of my favorite things about blogging is being out and about in Chicago and getting the chance to meet people who read the blog.  Without hesitation one of the comments I get most often when meeting a reader for the first time is “You’re taller than I thought you’d be!” something I now realize I’ve never addressed on the site before…

So, if we have yet to meet in the real world- My name is Amelia, and I’m 5’9″.  Oh, and I should probably mention that I’m usually wearing 4 inch heels.  (I’ll let you do the math.)

This is especially relevant today, because it just got a little easier for me and all the other tall girls out there to get dressed in the morning, especially if pants are involved!  The Limited is launching a tall line this fall. In an effort to create the best client experience, the talls assortment will stay true to each of the current collections from the brand. Sophisticated and fashionable tops, tailored jackets and chic day-to-night dresses will now be offered in tall sizes. In addition, all core suiting will be available in popular colors with mix-and-match flexibility to maximize your work wardrobe. The Limited Tall Collection is perfectly proportioned for longer limbs in critical fit areas (arm length, rise of pant, inseam, knee break) to provide tailored fit. The Limited will be offering select Scandal items in Tall starting September, 2014.

The line will be solely offered online, but all items can be exchanged and returned in store.  Works for me!

I instantly fell in love with both the fit and the color of this dress, and I think it goes without saying that the calf-hair purse is one size fits all!  I’ve got a $100 gift card to The Limited for the reader who has the creative/funny/brilliant/honest ending to this sentence: The best thing about being tall is _______.  Tweet me, comment on Instagram, or leave your reply below…

The best thing about being tall is “i have no clue”. I come from a very tall family so naturally, as a kid I looked forward to being tall like the rest of my family. At 20, I gave up and embraced being petite, and lots of 4inch heels.

PS. love the Blog. also a Michigan gal, recently moved to Chicago :)

I am excited to hear about the Tall line. I love the Limited and have had trouble in the past getting their pants to fit (sometimes I could let the hem out). I am 5’10″ and also love to wear heels!
