Saturday felt like Christmas morning at our apartment, not because my pregnancy is finally considered full term at 37 weeks, but rather because the built-in bookshelves and cabinets my husband and I designed months ago were finally installed!  We had the idea last summer, but life got crazy and it took months for us to get our final idea together, work with a carpenter, and actually have them built.  We couldn’t be happier with how the project turned out!  Luckily the rest of the weekend was filled with lots of time with friends, a couple parties, and even a new neighborhood diner discovery- otherwise, we probably would have sat around staring at the bookshelves and continuously rearranging things all weekend.  I’m sure I’ll share the whole project as soon as I get things styled accordingly, but for now- here’s a sneak peek… (and, yes, that’s a custom Walter White bust we had made a few years ago in the upper right hand corner).

A beautiful tea service at The Langham Hotel celebrating my friend Corri McFadden‘s latest venture, Glitter and Bubbles, complete with a visit from the Easter bunny.

While I’m reveling in all things baby boy related, my cousin is expecting a baby girl and had an absolutely beautiful shower this weekend.  I had so much fun shopping and picking out all things pink for her, among my favorite finds were these sweet and simple bodysuits and an adorable headband from The Crafted Co.
