This weekend marked one of our favorite times of year in Chicago… no, not St. Patrick’s Day, though that’s great too, we’re talking about the bi-annual Decades pop-up shop at space519.  Decades, Hollywood’s legendary vintage and consignment shop, has recently found a whole new audience of admirers, as it’s become the scene of Bravo’s newest reality show, Dukes of Melrose, airing Wednesday nights.  The show follows fashion’s odd couple, co-owners Christos & Cameron, as they merge their previously separate vintage and consignment business, and absolute hilarity ensues!  Watch a quick clip here.  How did it take this long for these two to end up on TV?  We loved the chance to chat with Christos & Cameron (their inside celebrity scoop is priceless- Christos described Courtney love to us as being incredibly smart and funny) and, of course, couldn’t wait to browse the racks of amazing pieces they brought with them to CHICago.  We also took full advantage of the opportunity by getting Cameron to sign a copy of his gorgeous new coffee table book.  Have a look:

Amelia & Greg pose with Decades co-owner and Bravo TV star, Christos Garkinos aka. “The Robinhood of Fashion”.  Just like the two of them, Christos is also a University of Michigan alumni- Go Blue!

“The King of Vintage”, Cameron Silver, signs his beautiful book, also named Decades.

We can’t get enough of the fabulous Amanda Puck, and 900 N. Michigan’s Ryan M. Beshel, who posed for us at the VIP reception Friday evening.

While the pop-up shop did include men’s items for the first time ever, Ryan and his huge feet were out of luck!

Our new friends, Christopher Free and Mara Maddocks pose for the camera.

We wish we looked half as fabulous hard at work as Decades diva, Mayisha, does!

Christos and some CHICago clientele.

One of countless timeless dresses.

An obviously recent Hollywood purcahse (there’s no Yves!) has already hit the consignment rack.

A pair of vintage Chanel earrings that Amelia scored rest on Cameron’s amazing book.

Cameron heading back to make an evening event in LA.  Thanks to Decades and space519 for another fabulous pop-up shop!
