Just when you thought designer consignment couldn’t get any better, this weekend it’s happening at 900 N. Michigan for a GREAT cause! Chicago Magazine explains…
“Have you ever wanted to walk in someone else’s Louboutins? The generous supporters of The Founders’ Board of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago have donated new and gently used designer clothing, shoes and accessories to The Designer Closet, a two-day resale pop-up shop at the 900 North Michigan Shops (900 N. Michigan Ave., Level 3). The sale will include everything from Chanel, Prada, and Oscar de la Renta to Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, and Kate Spade. Shop the sale Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store will restock the racks periodically, while supplies last.”
So how did we get our hands on a piece before the sale even starts? In conjunction with the event we were blindly given an item of clothing to style for the blog. Well, whoever pulled this stunning Halston dress for Amelia hit the nail on the head! It was love at first sight. Nothing brightens up a rainy day (that’s right, we got caught in the rain- big time!) like an amazing designer consignment find… and this one helps the kids!
