It’s Confession time!  Until I got engaged I wasn’t familiar with BHLDN, but while the adorable boutique (a sister store to Anthropologie) is primarily bridal, one certainly shouldn’t wait to get engaged before visiting.  There are plenty of party dresses, accessories, and decorations (many more fit for a dinner party than a wedding) to appeal to any relationship status.

BHLDN, “beholden” minus the vowels, has two locations… one in Chicago, and one in Houston.  Last week we were fortunate enough to attend the Chicago location’s first anniversary party.  Planned by So Dressed Up, with delicious bites by Cream & Flutter and Truffleberry Market and gorgeous flower arrangements by Pistil & Vine.  This fete was every bit as fun and flirty as the adorable store!

We’ll brave a snowstorm for champagne and cupcakes any day!

Treats from Cream & Flutter were equal parts pretty and delicious!

BHLDN‘s Michele Jurewicz and So Dressed Up‘s Katie Jackson-Meara did an excellent job putting together this pretty party!

A photo doesn’t do these gold dusted bites from Truffleberry justice!

Plenty of bubbly to go around!

More delicious treats from Truffleberry… “ice cream cones” made from mozzarella, balsamic vinagerette, with a cherry (tomato) on top!
