Last week, for the first time, a tour of Amelia’s Chicago apartment hit the internet in a beautiful feature on one of our favorite sites, The Everygirl! You’ve stuck with us through the kitchen renovation, the bar project, the gallery wall assembly, the desk makeover, the dishwasher DIY, the old chairs, the new chairs, the footstools, and of course the fireplace project… and now you get to see the final vision! Here are some of the photos from the feature, but make sure to head on over to The Everygirl for all the images and Amelia’s interview.
Love this! Where did you find the wooden chairs in your dinning area?
Thanks
Thanks! They’re from West Elm, and they’re a great deal! xx
Awesome. I’ve been looking for some nice chairs for my white round table and while I looked at West Elm, I just totally didn’t see these. They are perfect for what I need.
Thank you!
In the same resource-guide vein, I’m coveting your bedding. Where is it from?
Oh my gosh, it’s so old! I got it at a Pottery Barn outlet years ago for a steal. It needs to be replaced, but I just love the texture! xx
I loved this feature. You have beautiful home, Amelia!
Aw, thank you so much! xx
your condo is lovely! can i ask where you found those wooden chairs that you have at your dining table, and the dining table too?
Thank you so much! The chairs were a great deal from West Elm (within the last year) and the table is ikea. xx
Beautiful place! can where you found the amazing, green wallpaper?
Thank you.
Thank you! I ordered it from Carleton Varney in Palm Beach. xx
can you tell me what the name of the wallpaper is if you have it?
Brizilliance by Dorothy Drapper… xx
thanks for the quick reply! I have found so much inspiration your place!!!
I cannot believe your couch is so white with two black dogs, I cannot keep my golden retrievers fur off of anything! Loved seeing your home and being introduced to your blog on The Everygirl!
Thank you so much! I spend an absurd amount of time cleaning that couch! I’m sure you can relate! ; ) xx
hi ! Where is the gold peace hand from? Thanks!!
It was a gift from Jayson Home, one of my favorite stores here in Chicago! (www.JaysonHome.com) xx
Beautiful home! Do you happen to know the name of the paint color in your bedroom? I love it!
Thank you! It’s “Kendall Charcoal” from Benjamin Moore. I’m still in love with it 2 years later!
Your home is beautiful! I love your kitchen – am in the process of redoing mine and trying to do as much on my own as possible. Did you do the corner bench seating yourself? I’d love more info! It looks amazing and is just what I want!
Thank you Alexa! My dad is the one responsible for the corner seating, but yes- with his help- we did it ourselves! Let me know if there’s any specific info you’d like. We built it in pieces/boxes and then assembled it in place and nailed it all to the wall. It might be my favorite part of the apartment! xx
Thanks for your quick response! I would love more info. If you could let me know where you got your bench and wall panels materials, it would be much appreciated! Is it wood that you painted white? Thanks again!
It’s all just wood and wood trim pieces from Home Depot painted ‘Decorators White’ by Benjamin Moore… hope that helps! xx
Hi Amelia! Love everything about your home! Is that the CB2 coffee table I spy?
Also- I need to know, if you don’t mind, where are your gold sequin pants from? =)
Aw, thank you! That is a CB2 coffee table you spy! Also, the pants are from Calypso St. Barth’s. xx
Fab!! Thanks for the reply!
Ps- funny that they are Calypso- I did a search for gold sequin pants after I saw these, and didn’t see any I liked, but I did find a another pair of awesome sequin pants that I had bookmarked, and they are from Calypso! What a coincidence
[…] a good idea in the first place. Even though chances are I will never again live in an apartment decorated like this. Yes, I’m bitter, and I haven’t even started grad school yet. (I’m KIDDING. […]
